I recently bought 2 1200 watt MA Audio competition subs and a 1000 watt MA Audio competition amp to power them but it barely puts out any power. I spliced the input wires for the MA amp from the input wires going to my other amp. (600 watt Sony Xplod) I don't know if that makes it weaker though. I also ran both output wires from the MA amp to the two subs from one bridged output. (It's a 2 channel amp) I don't know if that makes the output to each sub only 500 watts either. When I tried to turn the level adjust on the side of the amp up I only turned it a little less than 1/4 turn and a red LED that said port lit up and the amp would turn off for a couple seconds and then turn on again. If anyone knows the answer to my problem please help.
