...of your culture? It seems as if 99.9% of all arabs are racist, anti-semitic, sexist, bigoted and intolerant of people other than them.
I've even noticed that the vast majority are homophobic. Is it because they are all closeted gays?
why eternal? i took a tour of the mideast. i was there for over 2 yrs and thats all i saw.
no hellogoodbye it doesnt help. i wasnt asking for statistics nor was i talking about terrorism (thats a whole different issue with these arabs). i was simply asking if those things i listed are true from a cultural standpoint. it seems like the arabs have a sort of supremacy complex thinking they are above everyone else when they clearly are not

I honestly don't believe that you were in the Middle East for 2 years b/c everything you have stated is all a part of the misconceptions and stereotypes of the Middle East. Yes, some people are racist, anti-semitic, but the people who express those opinions are a part of the minority and you can find people from all over the world who express those negative feelings.

It's also funny that you are asking this question in the Lebanon section. You must clearly be ignorant to have asked this question in this section especially b/c Lebanese are some of the most liberal Arabs.

It's funny how you don't mention the racism in the U.S. where there were people who were planning on killing Barack Obama just b/c he was a black man, or people who said they didn't want to vote for him b/c his middle name was "Hussein". And what about your dear Sarah Palin and John McCain who are clearly against homosexuals or of the KKK which still roams around the U.S. and are against anyone who is not white or a "true" American?

You see, all I had to do was pull out one election, and it was full of horrible things. What about all the other things in the U.S. and around the world?

But to answer your question, no it is not a representation of our culture. Just b/c there are some horrible people who come from the Mid-East doesn't meant that the majority of Arabs believe that way.

EDIT: did I take away the faults from the Arabs? NO. I said there are people from the Mid-east who do bad things (go back and read it) but I also brought out things that go on in the world b/c you seem to think that all bad things are from Arabs only. And of course I would get defensive from someone who is ignorant and posting trash online.
