Because we are still a relatively "new" country. We are a nation of people who have come together in one country and have created a melting pot of all the nations. We have brought a combination and plethora of love, family, traditions, foods, goods, services, history, gifts, talents, trades, wisdom and more to build a nation which supports itself and has been welcoming and open to others.
We are a country which has established the land of the free and the home of the brave. We have ideas that move beyond the norm. We are modern, we are a happy, fat nation and we gallantly serve others in our rushed society.
There are many reasons the world is so fond of our culture, but we have become a hodge-podge of our neighbors as well.
