Why is suicide so condemned by our culture?

I personally wish suicide booths would start popping up everywhere like in Futurama. It would give people the escape they want and it would cut down on our overpopulation.

You make it sound like a bad thing when you say "it would make it like death wasn't a scary thing anymore".

If less people were afraid of death, there would be a lot more bravery.

Also, since we are GROSSLY over populated, and there is not enough sustinance to go around, if the population starting dropping it would not be a bad thing.

Think of lemmings! When there population gets too high, the old& the weak jump off a cliff!

Hell doesn't exist.

Edit:

We are over populated in the terms that there are so many people on this planet that there is no way we can sustain everyone to a comfortable level with the amount of food cultivated.

In the last 70 years the population of the world has tripled.
