This sounds a little weird but I find it hard to believe that most teenagers now-a-days only want to read about Vampires (Of the sparkly kind) and cheesy love and over-emphasized action.
What happened to the classics such as East of Eden, A Farewell to Arms, The Great Gatsby? All of these books arn't difficult and I love them. But when someone asks for suggestions to read a book I see that people who post the least intellectuall provocative book and more *He's hot in the movies so this must be a good book* get the best answers, and EVERYONE seems to answer the same books. I have yet to see a classic posted
.
Ugh maybe I am just ranting but I don't want in on that bandwagon, please someone who feels the same agree with me
. (I am 15 by the way so this is my age group...)
