Ive just brought a new Sony head unit for my pug 206 and have a major problem
After the halfords installation, I discovered that the uni will "cut out" and lose all power for a second or so then turn on again. This appears to happen when the power usage of the device is high (such as at a louder volume or with a EQ setting on). The guy at halfords said he's never seen anything like it before. I know the wiring on the car is the original stuff but cant seem to figure this one out.
The unit also fails to remember any settings after the ignition is switched off, which may be related I really don't know. (I know on the old default unit I would have to ever the key code in every time almost as if it wasn't getting enough power when off as well)
Any ideas guys?
