I don't know; this is just a generalization of something I have noticed in my years of living. I know it may not be true in all cases.
One instance: I knew this elder white lady who was pretty much a hobo. She and her boyfriend would hang out near the Downtown Library in Dallas. That's how I them and We would sit and philosophize, whenever I'd go to the library. The more I would talk them, the more I began to realize how knowledgeable and educated they were.
I was like wow all this intelligence and yet you are on the streets. It doesn't make since at all.
