Why is it important to learn to use all of your intelligences?

I am a visual learner, so my Visual/Spatial intelligence is strongest. Why is it important that I learn to use all of my intelligences and in the long term, how will it benefit my studies?

The 8 intelligences are: Linguistic, Mathematical/Logical, Musical, Visual/Spatial, Physical, Interpersonal, Intrapersonal and Naturalistic
