Why is it American culture to see someone as guilty until proven innocent (Chris...

...Benoit Question)? This drives me crazy how stupid this country is becoming. I see shows like nancy grace where she is just destroying a person based on her opinion and she is allowed to do this before the trial even takes place. So of course people will see it and then spread the gossip so there will be a good chance that whoever is chosen for jury duty will know the story. Thing is maybe 99 percent of the time she'd be right(who knows) but what about that one percent that sends an innocent person to jail or to death because some big mouth reporter wants to make some extra dollars.

Now I'm putting this in wrestling because something reminded me about this. One of the greatest wrestlers of all time to this day is treated like a criminal because of the media and because of those with money. Of course I am talking about one of the top three greatest wrestlers of all time Chris Benoit. People watched him dive onto his head, get hit with chairs(say it's fake but you find a chair that won't hurt being smashed into your head), get cut open, perform 300 days of the year for the fans only to have them turn their back on him. This drives me crazy because people ask why he was given so many chances when he didn't have much of a personality. The answer is simple BECAUSE HE GAVE IT HIS ALL AND WANTED TO MAKE THE FANS HAPPY!!! I've seen many people lose their minds from head injuries and the way people just turned on him without trying to find out why is repulsive.

Then people say he's going to hell, well first of all Benoit is in heaven because he was a christian, if any of those saying he's going to hell had bothered reading the bible they'd know there is only one unpardonable sin and that is not believing in Jesus Christ. He was a great man who worked way to hard to bring joy to the fans and it cost him his sanity. With all he had to deal with it's a miracle he lasted as long as he did. Then on top of the wrestling business driving him mad he had to deal with his family issues.

I hope and pray one day that this country as a whole will become more intelligent in the way they understand things. Those same people who judge one man may find themselves in a similiar situation. All of this is coming from a veteran who saw this country support me when I was a young body going to war but now that I'm back, injured, and alone those "support our troops" magnets don't do anything for me. Chris Benoit was a true hero, he didn't save lives but when people are alone and suffering it was uplifting to see him go out there and give his all. (and lets see who the first moron is to post something negative proving my point about not thinking before speaking)

Oh and thought I'd add this, if you are tired of questions like these then maybe you can save us both some time AND NOT RESPOND TO MINE, but prove your stupidity and respond that helps single out all the idiots
I just wanted to add this because there may be more responses like that. See I am a christian but I actually read and understand the bible, while others just say if they don't do it it's bad and if they do it it's forgivable. Maybe it's their pastors fault or something but the bible also says humans are not to judge others. That what happens in life was meant to happen and is part of the lords divine plan. Oh and I put this in wrestling because I wanted a response from the fans who have been bashing Benoit. People don't realize how horrible it feels to have the world turn on you when you thought they were with you.
