...or African? Usually people say that they want to travel Europe or that they absolutely love German culture or Spanish culture but when someone mentions that they enjoy an Asian culture (except Indian) it's seen as being unacceptable or strange? The reason why I'm not including India culture in this is because it seems to be the only Asia culture acceptable of having interest in.
People often ask why someone would bother learning Mandarin but it's okay to want to learn Portuguese? The same thing happens if it's an African culture or language that one is interested in, but to a lesser extent. Even Asians question people why others would be interested, as if it's a bad thing yet they attempt to learn French?
