Why is British culture becoming less British?

These days, Britain has become far too p.c. because our country is made up of so many cultures. My boyf went to a school where you could celebrate chinese new year, but not easter (even though not chinese people there!). Plenty of other cultures celebrate their religious days in Eng,but Eng culture has lost days such as mayday (may pole dancing - what happened to that!). What happened to good old British pubs? more and more are shutting down! Are we becoming more americanized too?
 
All of us regular visitors who have close ties to Britain have noticed this too. Most all of my mates who I would visit in Britain. Have packed up and migrated over to my country (Australia) or to France or Spain.

A lot of the pubs and clubs I'd visit when coming to Britain are now gone. So has the local friendliness and close family feeling, which I and many people loved about Britain.

All I can say at least in Australia we all won't ever sell out our culture and traditions so easily to Americanised political correctness or to foreigners coming to our country. Who want to change our values, laws and free society lifestyles.

Especially after witnessing first hand, the total distruction and damage caused from Americanised political correctness which white anted in Britain and Holland.

For our mates in the UK moving here, our local pubs and social club still and always will continue to have friendly locals, pints, schooners, middies, pork pies, Sunday roasts, family nights, trivia, darts, pool, horse and dog and sports punting in the main bars and smoking lounge bars. With the football, cricket and races on the big screens.

Also Morris Ring dancing and traditional clebrations are very well and still alive and practiced in all cities in Australia.

It's because of the recent influx of foreigners from Eastern Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. Britain has lost 90% of it's world power and prestige and as a result can only survive in this modern world by being everyone's lapdog. Britain tries too hard to please everyone else and doesn't give a hoot about its own populace. I have absolutley nothing against these people themselves, but if we cut off immigration completely Britain would be a MUCH better place. Crime rates would fall substantially, the whole "PC Police" thing would fizzle out (thank the Lord), the whole racism and English language hullbaloo would be done with as well as many other things.
I think Britain should be Britain again, have a little pride and confidence in itself and stop sucking the cocks of the world.
 
Yeah british is becoming less british. Its not just other cultures entering england, its also todays british youth. To be fair, they are lazy and have been spoon fed everything which their mums and dads had worked hard far. Also todays youth is a lot "dumber" than it was 30 years ago, and the new trends (fashion) have overcome britains heart and soul. Im sure there aren't a lot of morris dancers and true english pubs have been closing down, but the chippy hasn't! ( i love the chippy)


By the way, im Ukrainian and Italian, born and raised in England. :D
