...about their work? Look at the statistics - only 39% of Americans accept evolution. We have whooping cough epidemics again because parents refuse to get their children vaccinated. Much of the country simply doesn't trust science at all.
Why have American scientists done such a horrible job of educating the public ABOUT science? They have completely fallen down on the job, and have allowed a huge subculture of virulent anti-science rhetoric to take hold.
