Why have nearly all cultures all across the world who've never met each other

have some kind of faith? in some kind of supernatural entity/entities?
why did Native Americans who were cut off from Europe and Asia have beliefs vaguely similar to those of Jews and Christians long before 1492?
and why have other historic societies in general who have never met had various kinds of faiths?
 
It could be because religion was with us before people spread around the world. If we invented religion when we were still in Africa then took it with us it would explain why it's all over the place.

Alternatively our brains may simply be built that predisposition to a belief in the supernatural is inevitable. For instance some people with epilepsy experience things which they interpret as divine due to stimulation of one part of the brain (I forget which part). This can be replicated by electrically stimulating this part in non-epileptics. If these people truly believe they are prophets then it would explain the rise of religion.
 
Paganism (Hinduism, Greek gods, Norse gods etc.): They all have the SAME "gods" but recycled throughout history and given different names and attributes. How? Cuz the things that they worship are JINNS and they live for thousands of years. It makes sense. Those people worship anything unnatural and Jinns are considered unnatural as they can shape shift.

Abrahamic Religions (Islam, Christianity, Judaism): They have the SAME God with the same original attributes but a different name. Their God is one.

Why are they similar? Because God exists. If he didn't people would be worshiping as the pagans do
 
I believe it is an echo of a past reality where all humans new and loved God. For example the Garden of Eden where Adam and Eve knew and loved God. I believe that it is the memory of this that survives in races all around the world that causes the human soul to search for God
