lmao
finally someone else experiencing my pain
i had this exact same problem my god!
with my 800 watt am and 12 in subs
i have a 2003 honda civic coupe
its alternator was a joke....lol
lmao
OK
sorry just feelin excited,
OK your amplifier is basically like a hoe
all its doing is sucking,
sucking power Faster than your alternator can charge your car/battery
its not the batteries fault, you can change the battery all you want but in the end its the alternators responsibility
the battery is used once and thats just to start the cars engine and the engine runs the alternator and the alternator keeps the battery charged
now look an inexpensive solution to this is to buy a capacitor(cap)
and what the Cap does is relieves power stress from your alternator/battery, its like a battery, but when your amp is pulling to much power, the cap throws enough power so where the amp is not just sucking sucking sucking.
but caps have there limits as well, assuming you dont want to go crazy on buying one
(1.2 farads is enough) thats how there power is measured
think of the farads as gigabytes, id love to ad an extra 1.2 gb to my harddrive lol
but a permanent solution would to be buying a new and stronger alternator... now that...would basically rape you and your wallet.
if you dont want to do any of that up above....
just turn it down
keep it low,
i kno its hard but thats your only option
