Why Don't Disney Make Cartoons Anymore?

Because it costs a fortune & theres only so many times you can rework Bambi before they get rumbled. They had to buy Pixar as they are cheap to make & can be banged out in no time. Hand animated cartoons are expensive & require skilled artists , lots of time & money. After the loses incured by Treasure Planet , then Disney basically turned its back on hand animated films & concentrates soley on screwing the last drop out of existing 'franchises'like Lion King & Jungle Book etc with all the varying sequels.

I find disney boring & detest the ' where all different & we can be frienRAB' schmaltz , dreary & totaly threadbare. Add Elton John & Phil Collins syrupy durges into the eqaution & you really are at the threshold of hell.

Hate the Disney shops with a passion as well. Another American bastion of the forces of darkness , getting gullable fools to part with good sums of money on tat buying into the American way.

In terms of animation Tom & Jerry are light years in front , in fact anything done by Fred Quimby.

Everytime Mrs Sheepdog puts a Disney film on like Lion King or Alladin i struggle to keep my eyes open. Give me Charlie Brown , Tin Tin , The Flintstones & Tom & Jerry anytime.

Roadrunner , Foghorn Leghorn , Elmer Fud , Bugs Bunny Works of genius. Disney's so mediocre & boring in comparison. Knights in shining armour & sleeping princesses , purlease:yawn:

Still think Tom & Jerry's Cat Concerto & the one where they flood the kitchen & turn it into a ice rink to be masterpieces, always found the ones with Spike The Dog & his pups brilliant.
