Why doesn't Australia have any real culture? AND why don't foreigners realise this?

As far as I can tell, after living here for my entire life, the unique aspects of Australian "culture" are to drink beer, watch Australian football, and celebrate idiocy. Yet, I often hear good things about "Aussie" "culture". Why?
Wildlife is not culture. That includes the Aborigines. They have only oral history, which is their own religion and not actually interesting to anyone over the age of ten because we all get it rammed down our throats in primary school.

I don't hate my own culture; as an Australian citizen, I can tell you that Australia has no culture of its own, and that if what it has is considered culture, then it certainly isn't mine. Australia has about two-hundred years of history, and most of it is either uneventful or more important elsewhere. Honestly, I can't think of a single uniquely "Australian" thing that isn't based around the piss-head bogan community.
