Does anyone find it ...odd that the category "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered" is under 'Society & Culture - Cultures & Groups"

Since when does your sex life place you in a different "Culture", why isn't it in the category "Family & Friends - Relationships" ??

I'm straight, I'm not someone who is trying to defend myself, I'm just wondering why certain people are placed in a whole different category... but isn't that discrimination?
I didn't mean to upset you ...

I'm not even gay or bi and it frustrates me ... how do you do it ?

I don't know =( it makes me sad.
perhaps we are veiwed as a group rather then ...I don't know...relationships?
its stupid.

i guess you just get used to the discrimination...its not right...but it is what it is and it isn't going to change...

It is because we have been forced to develop our own flags, art and even television networks because gay people aren't that excepted in the straight community. Being gay isn't just about who you fuck at night, its about who you live with, who you want to marry and who you want to be out in public with. We have different beliefs on things.

And to your answer about discrimination, not all people are the same. They are or all should be equal, but just because you are equal does not mean you have the same. I mean women have their own magazines as so do men. They are equal, but different. Equality does not equal the same.

You and I are very much different, but we have (or should) have equal rights.
