speakers and amp work fine, but ive noticed that when i turn off car the amp light stays red until i turn on the car. which means its on all the time even when im not using it. my amp stays warm all the time. checked fuses and they are fine. by the way when car is on amp light does turn green like its suppose too and works.

that means ur amp is still on and will kill ur battery over night prolly, it happend to me, but all u have to do it get a swich to turn ur amp off or get head unit and wire it so when the head unit turns on and off the amp turns on and off with it

do you have a remote wire hooked up from the radio to the amp, if not thats wut u need, if you do, check both connections and check the whole length for frays or any imperfections in the wire

Your amp is still on and receiving power. this will eventually kill your battery. whoever connected it probably connected it straight to the battery instead of connecting it to your ignition.
