Richard Dawkins argues for intelligent design by intelligent aliens. Now that's a level of faith on the order of fairies and the Easter bunny.

How can he claim credibility, and more importantly, how can Athiest worship this guy?

The earlier answers are right...atheism is not a religion...we don't follow a set of beliefs sketched in stone...we're not obligated to agree on everything.

That said...I still must stand up for a fellow human being being wrongfully accused. Richard Dawkins doesn't believe in aliens. He would be a bad scientist if he did. He most probably just believes that there is a good chance of them existing (size of universe...drake equation...etc. kinda suggest this and lots of scientist believe in the POSSIBILITY of aliens existing...NASA's on a major mission to find some for a while now!).

I call BULLSHIT on your claim of him saying something rigid and assertive like "yes there are aliens." That kinda shit is usually the religious nuts' domain.

I dont worship anyone.

it's possible there's other life out there. What makes Earth so special?

once i see an alien, i'll believe it. just like if i see god, then i'll believe it but that will never happen.

when he claims credibility he is lieing and idk why some athiest[ because it is not all ( i am atheist) ] worship him. i guess they have nothing else to believe.

It's certainly just as plausible as "god made me"

The fact is there is no data one way or another as far as any "intelligent design" hypothesis goes. I think Dawkins was trying to point out that "intelligent design" is not science.

No it's not like believing in the Easter Bunny.
And, atheists don't worship him.
Why do you rant and exaggerate??

See picture, those are galaxies:

You have been wallowing in Ray Comfort's site I gather.

Perhaps Prof Dawkins was attempting to show that the idea of a god was even sillier than that of aliens. You understand that, I suppose? Not too difficult?

Here, let me put it more simply

1. Life appears spontaneously on Earth - possible

2. Drifting spores from space - silly

3. Aliens - very silly

4. Gods - extremely silly.

5. Ray Comfort - astronomically silly. So silly it's a wonder he hasn't forgotten to breathe.

because he would like to make sure that people go to him for more information and give him money when this world is faked out like another 9/11

Regardless of whether your statement is accurate about what Richard Dawkins said, atheism is a statement of position that rejects any notion of deity. Anything beyond that is the individual's choice of what to believe or not believe.

The atheist position that there is no such thing as deity is as problematical as the faithful's belief in God. Neither position can use the empirical nature of science to support their belief (or lack thereof).

I don't worship anyone. We must look at claims and consider them regardless of their supposed origin. I don't believe he claimed that this was the cause but that it's a possibility. I think he was only saying that it's more likely than the magic that people posit. I don't know though.

I've never heard or read Dawkins claim categorically that he believes in aliens or intelligent aliens helping mankind. I have heard him state that he is a strong agnostic leaning towards atheist (a 6 on his scale of 7) as far as the theory of god(s) is concerned.

they reject belief in God and choose to believe in other imaginary creature....hahahaha what a moron

This argument he uses was quoted in the wrong context before. I believe he said something along the lines that intelligent aliens could be a plausible possibility for intelligent design in the universe, assuming of course there is intelligent design in the first place.
