Why does my 2005 Kawasaki Ninja 636 not stay running until it over 140 degrees?

Before I had my hoses tightened (radiator hoses were loose) by Macuso Harley when the bike hit 108 degrees I would get on and ride off. But since I got it back if you try riding it under 140 degrees when you clutch, the engine dies. Im trying to figure out why this is happening. Now this is from a cold engine, when u first turn it on. Once youve been riding and it up to over 140 its fine. But when u try to shift under 140 degrees the engine shuts off. Im thinking its just taking longer to warm up, but could that be due to tightened radiator hoses?
