Why do you perceive feminism in the manner in which you do?

ive grown up with the idea that feminism is to give women equal rights and opportunity in society in relation to men. i consider myself a liberal feminist. thats why i see feminism as a good thing (apart from the radicals).

what about you? have you had a bad experience with feminism and thats why you see it negatively? do you just not know much about it? why do you see it how you do?
