I bought a new computer, with obviously a new sound card. My midi files played fine on my XP system, and most of them still play on my new computer. But a few of them show the instrumentation is working, just no sound coming out. It doesn't matter if I use WMP, Winamp, or a variety of midi players. I'm assuming it must be my sound card, but why, since it's a new card and midi has been around for years?
