I am a little shocked that people think all emo's self harm and attempt suicide especially when they blame My Chemical Romance because if you just read the lyrics of emo bands they are not about suicide and self harm no sane person would listen to that kind of music and think "I am going to kill myself" like for example My Chem's lyrics I am not afraid to keep on living no real emo unless they are mentally crazy would cut or try to commit suicide those are stereotypes and pousers
