...conservatives are not educated and? that only liberals are educated. I've heard science logic demean and attempt to marginalize many people on here, going as far as to even suggest they only have a GED, if any education at all. Is this the new assault methodology from a very overly arrogant, yet in denial, leftist movement? If liberals are so smart (unlike little ole conservative me who only has two undergrad degrees and a MS degree) why is it that liberally ran state governments around the country are in shambles and conservative ran states have economies not in shambles?
TO the clincher: for an example see just about every Science Logic posting on here. I guess if you don't have an ivy league education then you're simply a dumb racist. It's getting old...

Clearly you have a lot of uneducated people on this board from both sides of the aisle. Also, people don't watch the news if you show educated liberals and conservative because that is boring.

People want the liberals and conservatives that you see on the Jerry Springer show. People who make a**es of themselves and clearly do not know what they are talking about.

But you are wrong about liberal run states and conservative run state economies being in shambles. That is baseless and you have no proof. There are many factors as to why some are thriving and others are not. If you are referring to Texas and California, California was hit very hard in the housing market causing property tax revenue to dip serverly.

When the First Republic bank of Texas collapsed in 1987, that was a huge blow to the Texas economy. Also, during the oil embargo of the 70s, Texas oil surged, but when the embargo lifted, Texas oil dropped.

There are different reasons and several factors to why some economies flourish and others flounder. But stating that because one is "liberal" and the other is "conservative" is baseless and serves only to show ones ignorance of economic matters.

The same reason liberals have amnesia when it comes to the history of socialism and the suffering it has inflicted upon the world. They believe in the idea that, "If you don't have the truth, lie."

They like to feel superior and one of the best ways is to marginalize conservatives as uneducated hicks. The fact that so may neo-cons that call in to talk radio are obviously misinformed and don't seem to want to hear the truth doesn't help the cause.

Besides, there are also conservatives who like to paint all liberals as amoral communists who are either openly or closet homosexual or bulldog lesbian women. So the attacks do go both ways.
 
I dont think all conservatives are uneducated. I have some friends that are conservatives, but I disagree with them in politics. The reason that most conservative that run states are not in shambles, is because their conservative politicians are bought and under-handed. Most Conservatives think me 1st and will step on you to get ahead. Thats the opinion that I have formed in recent years. You know, the I got mine, get yours attitude. Well everybody didnt get money passed from generation to generation and there is no real equal opportunity. There are smoke screens everywhere. I live pretty well and some of my neighbors who are conservatives think that I come from money, but I don't. I worked hard and got passed the ignorant people who tried to set up roadblocks.
