why do answers users seek to answer questions they don't even have educated GUESSES for?

i asked a question and the responses were from mostly judgemental users of this site who obviously seek out questions where their can excersise their uneducated opinions and make snide comments thinking certain situations can never happen to them or their loved ones. KARMA
