Why did our culture and society create the double-standard, social norm, when it...

...comes to sexuality? We all know of the unfair double-standard when it comes to having sex, sleeping with someone, etc. Women get called whores, sluts, for having sex with many guys, which is bad, negative thing for them, society shuns them for that. However, it is the oppossite for Men, they get called Studs, Players, Pimps, the "Man", positive thing for them, it makes them popular in a good way.
Anyway, since I am a guy, I am a straight heterosexual, I think it is unfair for Women to get called Sluts, Whores, etc. How long has society had this double-standard? who started it? Has this double-standard existed before the birth of Jesus Christ?
I am a guy, and I believe in equality for everyone, every gender. So how long has this double-standard existed? and why was it created it?

These rules aren't just statements to hurt someone or
to provide a "double standard" prevention-wall...

It is true that labeling people is a hostile way of many.

There is another reason why this culture exist...and you may

not believe but its SCIENCE.

MEN and WOMEN are the two living human organisms that require

each other for human reproduction.

And for this 'reproduction' process to occur one of them should

ENGAGE sex. And Nature made it the MALE.

And because reproduction process MUST be BALANCED

FEMALE's urge towards sex is dramatically REDUCED.

That is why, if a woman asks/sells or have sex with too many

men she is justified for such labels. Because the reason for her

to engage into having many sex for herself is because of the way

she thinks and not because her body has a very high urge into

having sex. Got it?

Male> sex desire level: 10
Female> sex desire level: 4-5 or less.

Try to look how Male behaves towards sex...as if we do anything

just to have it. Men rapes, buys sex, involved in women trafficking, etc.

Majority of male often engages sex first.

same goes with animals.

I think that's kind of sweeping. Society has been becoming a lot more liberal. Back in the day, and the eons before it, women were kind of seen as a sort of slave and men as their master, but it's really not like that anymore.

I mean, the terms still get thrown around, but women are becoming a lot more confident in their sexuality and not letting things like this bother them.

And I'm a man, and have been called a manwhore a few times, but I just laugh and am glad for the life I have lived and am proud of who I am. I feel a lot of women feel the same way about themselves, and those who wouldn't be proud or satisified with their decisions probably shouldn't have made them.

Anyhow, different things work for different people. The world is constantly evolving, and hopefully, soon enough, things will be equal for men and women across the board. Just takes time for people to get used to new ideas...

yeah its true & yes dis' double-standard existed before B.C If a woman lost her virginity (outside of marriage) & if someone knew she would had been killed by the town. Ppl would throw rocks at her until she was dead & she was buried underneath them... I guess what happened to the guy who had sex with her? nothing so yeah u can call dat double-standard. I guess this has existed since Adam & Eve... I mean there's so reason for it Its like being racist, why treat someone badly for there skin color? After all, everyone different.... so see some things dont make sense you can either do sumthing about it,live with it, or just ignore it Its your choice after all
