while at work last night i read this interesting book about islamic conquest over persia.
muslim armies who were "spreading islam" invaded persia.
they forced islam upon them, they destroyed persian culture and replaced it with islamic culture.
for more than 300 years, persians were forced into leaving their mother langugae farsi and forced to speak arabic before the fall of the islamic army.
would u consider such actions islamic?
edit: this book was backed up by accounts of real iranians.even thou they adopted shiasm voluntarily, they were forced into islamic culture and forced to speak arabic for 300 years, it is a fact
