NOT 1986!!! (Chavs=1986 US ghetto)? This is about "chavs" and any OTHER "ghetto people" in England...if you're going to totally copy another country's culture then why can't you keep it MODERN???
Look at ANY rap album from the US in the year 1986. You know something? That was the LAST year that you saw us wearing striped windbreakers WITH the gold chain. ONLY BRITS wear that crap in 2009! It's okay to go "retro" to a style your people have ALREADY had...and it's okay for a culture to spill into another country, after all our world is getting more united, call it "diversity" or "NWO B.S.", that's a different topic.
But when you take a culture from another TIME AND PLACE and give it a name of your OWN (chav)...that's just silly!
Yeah it was kind of ignorant to make it a nationalistic thing, after all that's like when SOME Europeans act like all Americans are Bush voters and go on about bad things "Americans" did when most of us are oppressed by our government like the North Koreans are!
However I DID already know that most English can not STAND Chavs. I mean, that's just common logic considering most Americans don't like the ghetto trash we have over here.
Also, I appreciate open minded people from BOTH sides of the sea who realize that most Americans' were OPPRESSED BY Bush and forced to live in a police state because of him. Just like there are Americans like me who respect some factors of British culture...like the music is so badass...and the fact they still have people with the balls to stick it to authority whereas American ghetto people just mess with their own kind.
