Why are piercings in the muslim culture not banned but tattoos are? :S i really wont a tattoo but i am muslim ! Whats the exact reason for not being allowed a tattoo?, Also i have read that muslim boys cant get ear piercings however i have seen thousands of muslim boys with piercings soo whats all about? :S
Ehm yes i know tht piercings r not permanent but once you leave them in for long enough then the pierced hole will always be there which then technically making them permanent

Nah, u've got it wrong there buddy.

In Islam, females are allowed to pierce ONLY their ears (for earrings). no other piercings at all are allowed, and neither are tattoos.

Males cannot pierce anything and no tattoos.

If anything else occurs, well these people are simply not following Islam

Islam is a religion, not a culture. In the Muslim community, people generally believe that it is wrong to get tattoos since they are permanent whereas piercings are not. I believe that there is a verse in the Quran that probably mentions the sin of permanently altering your body. Yes, removing tattoos (through laser surgery) is possible but without that technology, tattoos are otherwise permanent and therefore Haram.

My Culture includes cedar canoes and plank houses and a few teepees/wigwams on my moms side. My FAITH, is Islamic. There is a difference. Piercings are allowed in Islam because they are not permanent, and tattoos are not.

i think we're not allowed tattoos because some ppl say art (except geometric art) is not allowed
personally, i don't believe the thing about art but maybe you should look into this with some ppl that are more educated about this (not like the older ppl, they'll scold you lmao but like the teens and such) because they'll kno for sure
