Why are Boers and Afrikaners given a hard time for simply wanting to preserve their

Well it seems they're always branded racist because they want to preserve their own cultures in South Africa which don't always include black people.
 
Jealousy. Because a nation so small could accomplish so much.

Scared. If the Boers start to live out their culture again, and feel the old feeling of belonging and strength again, ...
