I am Venezuelan and Colombian , born in Venezuela though and i have lived in Miami (Hialeah) since i was 2 , my neighborhood is moslty cuban , i have some Cuban uncles and cousins , i have always grown up close to cuban culture , and i love the cuban culture and people , even my girlfriend is Cuban-American and my family doesnt speak like Venezuelans or Colombians , we speak with a Cuban accent now lol , so could it be that because i grew up in Miami , that i love Cuban culture and even feel like im cuban sometimes ?? thanks

I live in Miami too... Lol i am Cuban Colombian. I don't know much about my colombian culture but i know a lot about cuban.Yeah i feel cuban but i was born in the U.S, i don't live in Hialeah though! Hi-a-Lee-ah! Your just used to the culture, Hialeah is the breeding ground for Cubans!

Maybe because the Cuban culture seems to have more zest and life, a little spicier in a good way.
Both Venezuelan and Colombian cultures are warm. But there is something to be said about the Cuban culture because Cubans will always find a way to enjoy themselves with friends and family. They like to enjoy life.
Music is a big part of the culture and is in the blood. Cumbia and Vallanato are fun to dance and the music is nice to hear...but salsa is infectious. So it will make you feel great!

The Miami (Hialeah) area is colourful, busy and with lots of interactions with everyone. You feel like you're in Cuba but aren't. So for you growing up in that area becomes a part of you anyway...and you're enjoying it!

Isn't it nice to have a variety of cultures in your life?!
