Look at his profile where he answered the question, "Run 4ohm speakers on 8ohm will it hurt amp ?"
His answer.

It will also sound Great
Ps you get less power draw at 8 ohm than 4 ohm so you dont need as much power to drive but if you get 16 ohm on any circuit you might do some damage if you over drive it and your power does not match

Well Parrot, you get less power from 8 ohm because it doesn't load down the amp as much as 4 ohm!!!
The closer to 0 ohms you get the closer to a dead short you get.
This is what loads down an amp and forces it to push more power!!!!
16 ohm would be LESS of a strain on an amp than 4 ohm!!!!
I knew you didn't have any experience and now I have my proof!!!!
