Who will win CN or XD

Seeing as though this is happening this week I thought I would make a thread about it this is the schedule and by the way both are the 3rd and 4th place network so this will be hardcore

CN 7-10 Pokemon Movie then hour star wars premiere
XD 7-10 Aaron Stone,Jimmy two shoes,and Kid vs Kat than Narnia

I think CN will win as these names are already known and I will be watching CN because I've seen Kid vs Kat, Aaron stone p1 and Jimmy two shoes on I tunes (Thought the latter has a different episode shownng)
What do you think?
 
CN wins by default, mainly because it's in more homes. I do think that the Aaron Stone simulcast on DC will trounce CN, though.

Personally, I'm going to watch XD's lineup first, switch over to CN, and then catch the beginning of the Pokemon movie on Sunday.
 
If Disney XD becomes part of the basic cable package like CN is, then they'll give CN some hardy competition.
Hopefully that won't happen.
 
Just look at the Disney XD promos. The boy-centric trying-too-hard image it's trying to create, along with the lineup, which is mostly lackluster boy-centric shows, ensures Cartoon Network a victory. Plus it's in more houses and has an established audience.
 
My 2 cents would be for everyone to stop worrying about the ratings and enjoy your programming with a care free mind. CN will win because they are better reguardless of the ratings.
 
Truer words were never spoken. Everyone around here obsesses too much over ratings and who is beating who. Makes me wonder how anyone is able to enjoy TV when they're so wrapped up in who is doing better than who.
 
Yeah, people worry too much over things like ratings, and some lose their cool over them. People should put more attention to a block's actual programing and not their ratings.
 
Honestly, I could not care less if CN was the top rated cable station or the lowest rated, as long as they are airing the shows that I love to watch then they remain #1 with me. Rating's are a headache to IMO.
 
Besides, when being #1, you have to make bad sacrifices (Canceling shows that's not popular, putting the same shows (crappy or awesome) on everyday, etc.) all the time just to stay on top. Quality is better than quantity.


But really, CN vs. The Ha Ha Very Funny Network? XD's on digital cable. This thread should have been renamed "Nicktoons Network vs. XD?", now that's competition.
 
Since XD is newer, people will definitely watch it. CN probably deserves it more but let's not forget that Disney and Nick still beat CN despite it having better programing. On the other hand, not everyone has XD. I think it'll be close, but CN will win in the long run.
 
CN is in more homes, so numerically it'll win by default, but I agree with those who have said that folks need to stop obsessing so much over ratings. I just watch whatever shows appeal to me, I couldn't care less how popular they are.
 
This isn't about which channel is "better" or "more popular". That's just opinion, which will vary according to one's personal taste. Obviously CN is more popular than Disney Closed-Eyed Grin is right now, since Disney Closed-Eyed Grin hasn't even officially launched yet.
 
Is there anyone here who honestly thinks that Disney XD could/will trounce Cartoon Network in it's 1st year when CN has been around for at least 10 years longer and is available in many more homes than Toon Disney/Disney XD?

I really wish that fans would stop with the pointless debates about which show/channel/network/studio is better and just learn to appreciate the merits of each. Who really cares which channel gets higher ratings than the other(s)? Has anyone ever said "I'm not going to watch so-and-so channel anymore because it's ratings aren't as high as such-and-such channel"?

But just to answer the question, Toon Disney is in so few homes right now that Cartoon Network wins this one easily.
