Who will win CN or XD

So true. I completely agree with you. I don't quite understand why so many people here are focused on ratings. As long as a channel is showing a show or movie that I like, I couldn't care less how well it does with the ratings. What's more important to me is that I just simply enjoy what I'm waiting since I thought that is one of the reasons for having a television in the first place.

CN because theres more homes with CN then DisneyXD, But then again theres more homes with Nick then either....(If only CN could beat them just once eh! )

Personally I feel like the whole reason that people choose sides is because they can, and most people are at that age where they want what they liked to be #1.

Most people when I was in High School, people debated about which video game system was the best, Game Cube, PS2, and Xbox. While I supported the Game Cube and the PS2, while I didn't like some people dissing Nintendo for being "kiddie", I was okay with that because those people didn't know what they were missing, and if they were judging based on that, then they were the ignorant ones. In my last leg of HS it was between the PS3, Wii and 360, most people prefer the 360 and Wii due to variety of games compared to PS3 "NO GAMEZ!"

Nick has a longer track record, is more widely available, and had already labeled itself in the eyes of the general public as the network for kids. Of course, Cartoon Network can't expect to beat them (though they were the second place kids network, a few years back).

It's actually a Teletoon original, and in the States, the backstory was changed. In Canada, Jimmy is actually the soul of a good Samaritan who died helping an old lady, and accidently entered hell. Here in America, Disney has the backstory as Jimmy entering an alternate dimension.

But at the end of the free episdoe on itunes it said jetix europe productions then teletoon:sweat: I think the american version has a cooler scifi vibe to it though.

I?m under the impression that the changes were made in all versions; the official description on Breakthrough?s website makes no mention of hell, and they would have the unedited description because they produced the series in association with Teletoon. The old descriptions were the ones that mentioned hell; they also mentioned that Heloise was a serial killer, which in and of itself would be a hurdle. After all, the hell angle was thought up back in 2005 when the pitch was being put together, though back then, things looked a lot different. A lot can change in several years. It?s obvious that Miseryville is based on hell. They?ve just chosen to steer clear of the obvious connotations.

Regardless, ?Jimmy Two Shoes? should do rather well on Disney XD; it was the highest rated program at MIPCOM, beating out ?Batman: The Brave & The Bold? and numerous other shows. Quite an impressive feat. It probably won?t beat out whatever Cartoon Network airs against it, as Disney XD is severely handicapped, but I think it will do fine.

I don't doubt that JTS will do well on XD, but I think that CN probably would have treated it better (advertise it more, air episodes in order, give it a better timeslot, allow for more content, etc...)

Changes WERE made in all versions.
Miseryville = no longer Hell but would feel like it if you had to work there.
Heloise = Misery Inc. inventor with a sadistic side. She can be cute and angry.
Jimmy = Still a nice guy just a little less Flanders and more Johnny Test.
Beezy - Funny slacker voiced by TDI's Brian Froud. Funny
Lucius - Same as before great voice acting by Sean Cullen.

Oh yeah, beware the pickles. (watch the show and eventually you'll get this)

It's a fun show.

Chdr I'm sure you saw the free episode due to that fact that you replied to the talkback didn't you see the jetix original logo at the end so I'm sure it is unedited

Well I'm not Impressed with XD's lineup so far, but it's still young as a network and could possibly improve, maybe it might be better if they didn't give Bats and Supes such a late time.

As said before, the premise of JTS was originally going to be much darker than what we got. I blame Disney for trying to make the show fit their "family-friendly" ideals. CN probably would have let them get away with much more than what we got here.

I'm surprised that Disney would edit out Hell from Two-Shoes; I recall a few instances where recent Disney Channel shows (or acquisitions) have said the word "hell", but I suppose saying the word is much different than having it be the setting.

Again, from what I’ve seen, the changes that have been mentioned were made early in development; I don’t believe that the series was gutted in post-production. The last summary that I’ve read that mentioned hell was posted back in 2006, which leads me to believe that they decided early on to take a different approach. Back then, “Jimmy Two Shoes” wasn’t even in production, as that began in 2007. Even then, it wasn’t scheduled to air in the United States, as that deal was made in 2008. Regardless, the series as it is was the rated animated program at MIPCOM JUNIOR, even without the original concepts, so I don’t think any of this debate really matters. I say we should enjoy the series for what it is, rather than what it was back when it was pitched.
