Who will be the next Batman villain? (no spoilers in first post)

riddler would be teh only one taht would make sense

couldn't be mr freeze, that would be hokey adn gay

i'd say fuck it and make the villain be Q from star trek

I disagree. As I said before, in the Hush comics, Hush and the Riddler both know who Batman is.
At some point in his career, Elliot became the doctor of Edward Nigma (also known as the Riddler). Nigma, diagnosed with terminal cancer, eventually hijacked one of Ra's al Ghul's Lazarus pits to regain his health. During this mystical treatment, which renders the participant temporarily insane, the highly intelligent Nigma experienced an unexpected epiphany, realizing that Bruce Wayne was Batman. After discovering that they had a common hatred for Bruce Wayne, Elliot and the Riddler decided to pool resources to bring him down. To this end, Elliot created for himself the persona of Hush.

some people say no but you have to figure that the held a funeral AND the ton of cops that stormed the building the gordons were in all saw the body.

I wanna see them bring back the penguin or the Riddler. I think it would be pretty hard to bring the Riddler back after the Joker has already made his appearence though.

I think Mr.Freeze would suck if they ever brought him in.

Hush might work, but I'm not sure. I think they need another Directly evil guy like Joker was, not someone playing the game from afar.

Nolan said that he will not do Penguin because the character is too goofy. So that's out of the question.

I forgot to explain why I didn't add Mr. Freeze: It's because these movies are supposed to have characters that are at least somewhat plausible. I can't really see them pulling off Mr. Freeze.

However, I think Patrick Stewart would make a great Mr. Freeze if they did it.

straight from wikipedia (i know, i know)

Nolan is not committed to another sequel, explaining that he does not normally line up projects after completing a film. Gary Oldman is confident Nolan will return,[25] and Bale said he would return if Nolan did.[26] Oldman hinted in the third film Gordon would have to hunt down Batman.[27] He has also mentioned that the villain of the upcoming film may be The Riddler. [28] Nolan explained that as long as he is directing, he is not including Robin in the franchise because Bale is portraying a "young Batman", which meant "Robin's not for a few films". Nolan jokingly listed Frankie Muniz as a potential choice, if the studio forced him to cast.[29] Bale joked "I'll be chaining myself up somewhere and refusing to go to work" if Robin is introduced.[30]

In addition, Nolan considered the Penguin difficult to portray on film, explaining, "There are certain characters that are easier to mesh with the more real take on Batman we're doing. The Penguin would be tricky."[31] Christina Ricci, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Kate Beckinsale have shown interest in playing Catwoman,[32][33] while David Tennant wishes to play the Riddler.[34] Prior to the release of The Dark Knight in 2008, David Goyer ruled out using the Penguin or Catwoman as a villain in a future film, prefering to use antagonists from the comic that had not yet been portrayed on the big screen.[35] After Heath Ledger's death in January 2008, it is unknown whether the Joker will come back, be recast, or retired out of respect for Ledger.

oh, come on now. try that sort of reasoning with your kids when (if) you ever become a parent.

aaaawe shit, son! you got you first 100%! you done fucked it up, because now you've gone and set the bar high! that's too much pressure, too much pressure. you've ruined your entire educational experience!

Well now that I've thought about it, I think Catwoman is very likely as a distraction/love interest, especially with Rachel completely out of the picture.

I don't think anyone forgot about him considering I mentioned him in the first post.
Nolan has said that he will not do a Penguin because he's too goofy. I think that Mad Hatter is also too goofy.

i think they need a threat that batman can clearly overcome.

in the end, despite bats insistence that it can't be that way, the joker did win. i mean this in that the joker existed to introduce chaos to order, to corrupt the incorruptible. he succeeded in corrupting dent and as far as the public is concerned, drove bats to kill, meaning that he corrupted him as well.
