Who marry outside the culture, Somali women or Somali men and the half somali child?

I think the somali women are quite interesting in that they marry outside their culture as much or even more than men. Usually, it is the men who in most cultures want to marry women from other races/nationalities.

For the Somalis however, men are not too interested in non-somali women. Even on yahoo answers there have been questions coming from women of other origins asking why Somali men aren't interested in them. And at the same time Somali women do marry outside the culture.

I am a somali woman btw (yeah I need to change my avatar) and I met a Slovenian French guy years ago at the uni but he wasn't Muslim so there was no future.

Finally do you worry your kids won't look like you if you marry non Somali? I heard that's usually what happened to Somalis marrying others, the kids take after the non-Somali parent!
