Who knows about stereo installations? ?

I have a 2007 chevy silverado classic and tried to install an aftermarket stereo. got the needed parts, but after getting it in, it would not turn off. any one know how to fix this problem?
 
sounds like you have the constant power from the truck hooked to the accessory wire on the deck. just need to do a minor re-wire
 
sounds like you may have the acc switch controlled positive wire crossed with the full time positive wire use for keeping the memory and preset even when you turn the key off .
