Who is responsible for stopping a run back on a kickoff? I say it is the 10 guys other

than the kicker and? holder, but my friend says the kicker should be held responsible as he is the last one with a shot to tackle the kick returner. I say it should never get to that point -- the other guys should have stopped him way before he had a chance to get that far! (we are talking about jeff reed, btw)
I know it's a team sport, that is why I am saying you cannot BLAME the kicker. My point that you all seem to be not seeing is: The kicker is not responsible for it! The whole defensive line in front of the kicker should take care of the runner way before he gets that far!
 
Most kickers I've seen can't stop a hot dog wrapper from blowing across the field as can be seen when ever one tries to stop a run back. Like the quarterback, the kicker should stay back out of the way if their not going to play like the rest.
 
The guy above me is right might I add that is hilarious but so true look on youtube how many kickers get plastered there a hit stick dummy but to answer your question these guys get paid millions both sides you cannot expect someone to house it on a kickoff. The Steelers lost fair and square yesterday so if your looking to blame someone blame the team they all LOST! (period) you win as a team you lose as a team.
