White House Will Consider Any Online Petition That Gets 5,000 Signatures

invest in infrastructure, create fund for high-tech/science/ research and startups, significantly increase visa availability for skilled foreign workers, scientists, and foreign students to top schools
 
A simple mandate requiring purchases to be fucking googled before and contracted sellers must be within 10-15% at least of an average price would be an amazing start.

But when we overpay by ~600% for things...I always have to Most recently we paid 200% more than average cost for 24 items...that could have funded another position for a year
 
yeah, ive seen those. my point is that 5,000 is an absurdly low limit for a country the side of the US. should be more like 500,000 IMO. a 5k limit implies they're not even planning on seriously considering anything
 
And it doesn't factor in the costs of the war. Sure the contractors get tons of money, but they're owed that money by the government. And that's the entire problem- the government would be in even greater debt.
