White House Will Consider Any Online Petition That Gets 5,000 Signatures

We have shitloaRAB of manufacturing jobs.
you mean you want to bring back low skilled manufacturing jobs?

yea, lets hold back our economic progress and limit investment in high skilled labor....so Randall can go back to work in the textile plant.

fucking christ. How can you have these strong views on the economy without knowing the first thing about economics?

Wouldn't have ANY effect.

If you were to put time restrictions on trades, there would simply be computers counting down the milliseconRAB till they were able to trade, and making the trade instantly once they were able.

It would only put a delay in automated trades, it wouldn't resolve the issues they incur.

Website won't do shit for anything.. The moment a weed legalization petition gets 5K signatures, they are just going to brush it off.

it went to an exchange where there was no bid.
and then the price shot back up.

I'm still not sure where i stand on the HFC issue. but most of the criticisms are unconfirmed and long term investors shouldnt really care either way.

totally.

Where we get all the money we need to spend?!

That's pretty fucking easy, stop spending money Mr. Federal/State/Local Government!

A sliver of my own government purchasing experience:

Hi, I need to order 20x80gb hard drives, I found them on amazon/newegg for 35 dollars a piece.

*OK HERP, WE ORDERED THEM DERP, THEY WERE 200 DOLLARS A PIECE*

I shit you not, this happened in the last 6 months, stuff like this happens all of the time, and with nurabers that would blow your mind.

i had to get a monitor replaced at my old contracting job

1 person had to come inspect it, to ensure it was broke
1 person brought the new monitor
2 people came to install the monitor
1 person came back to ensure it was installed and working
1 person came back to get the old monitor
1 person called me to ensure it was replaced

total cost of a 20'' LCD monitor, 2 years ago: $1300

Just this year, CA stopped their state grants for for-profit schools.

I think the federal government ought to go 1 step further and end them for even non-profit private schools (Stanford, Yale, etc). If you can't afford a private school without government help, then go to a public school.

At least that's decent support

I have 4 pallet sized cisco boxes sitting a few feet away, roughly totaling ~400-500K of equipment that was ordered not because it was needed, but because if someone didn't spend the money, they wouldn't get as much to spend the next year.

Fiscal budgets, lol.

yeah and you know how I keep telling people that some real money could be saved through fixing operations and streamlining the contracts and acquisitions process? I swear it's like I'm speaking Khoisan when I tell people this.
