15s move a lot more air than 12s. The total surface area of 2 12s is about 226 square inches. The total surface area of 2 15s is about 354 square inches. If you run the same amount of power to both of these set-ups, the 15s would move more air being louder.
 
...details and car below.? the 2 12's are in the trail blazzer with a rockford t1000 amp and the 2 15inch are in a 1998 lincoln continental with a rockford t1500 amp please only answer this question if you truely know about subwoofer and amp's also both of these are in ported box's the 2 12's are in a pre fab the 15's are in a custom ported box
He 12 r louder right now because i have the t1000 but im gettin the t1500 next week i just wanted to know if it make a difference
