Which wire do i tap? Wheres the alternate power source?

I'm trying to install fogs but don't know how to wire a switch in. I've been told to find a power source under the hood that doesn't go directly to the battery but how do i do that? I'm doing this on a 04 Dodge ram 1500
 
i would run it to the fuse box, that ways its fused for protection should something go wrong or short out
