Which stars in Orion will be visible when it goes Supernova?

Betelgeuse will probably be first. Scientists believe it will go supernova within 1,000 years...if it hasn't done so already. It won't pose a danger since its polar axis isn't pointed toward us (they say that would put us at risk of a gamma ray burst), but it will be so hugely bright that it will almost be like a second Sun; it will be many times brighter than the full Moon. If you've ever read Clarke's "2010: Odyssey Two", it will be like the end of that for a couple months.

They will all be visible if they go supernova, and all three are probably massive enough. Betelgeuse is probably closest to going supernova, and it will be spectacular when it does. In fact, all three would probably be easily visible in the day time if they went supernova. Consider that the star that became the Crab Nebula was not visible at all before it went supernova, and was easily visible in the daytime after it did.
