Which of these 2 sets of speakers will be better?

Right now i have a DXZ475MP Clarion head unit.

I'm looking into buying a full set of Clarion speakers for my car...just a preference.

1. These ---> SRG6920R 6x9 and SRG1620R 6-1/2 2-ways

2. These ---> SRQ6930R 6x9 and SRQ1630R 6-1/2 3-ways

I want clarity over bass....something i can crank up without any distortion......pick 1 or 2 and give me a reason why. The head unit is a 50w x 4 built in amp as well.
 
If your looking for more clarity, go with the 3-ways. Its going to sound better and you get an extra tweeter in there. The base will be the same for either, but the 3-ways will sound much better.

no matter what speakers you have they will distort because your head unit will not be able to support the ohm and frequency the head unit is sending at high volume installing a 4 channel amp for your speakers will help a lot. now 6x9s are known to provide you with great mids and a 6-1/2 is good for low and mid sounds the 3 way is going to give you good mids and great high notes i would go with option (2) and add a four channel amp
