Which head unit is better Alpine CDA-9886 or Pioneer DEH-P6000UB?

Which is better overall and which has the best sound quality? I will be using a 1000 watt RMS alpine amp for subs if that makes a difference.
I am also considering the Alpine iDA-X100 for its Ipod functionality but it only has 2v preouts (how much of a difference does that make?)

the pioneer has a 7 band EQ compared to a 2 band one on the Alpine, if you are going to use a external EQ or crossovers for your speakers it may not make a huge difference but if not, a 2 band EQ is terrible
