Which decade has the better music?

There's lots of great music in the 80s.

Let's see there's new wave & post punk , the first real wave of indie labels , the birth of hip/hop , metal really took off properly in the 80s as did electronic music.

The only reason I can think of for the 80s sucking was because the charts were full of novelty crap , cheesy rock ballaRAB & has beens from the 60s & 70s desperate to re-live past glories & failing miserably.

It's funny how I still stick by the 90s but for different reasons. My retarded overwhelming obsession with obscure emo, early rough math-rock, the formation of post-rock, good indie-folk. It's all so purty.

It does?????

Influenciality doesn't do much for actual better music, infact his own logic kind of ruins it. "It is my feeling that after the 60s, music became much more exciting."

60s for me. 60s had the type of music I like, 70s had more famous music though. 80s were not good, 90s maybe a tiny bit better, and I don't know about now.

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss colaborated on an album together, Thier new album is called Raising sand. The first single can be downloaded from i tunes starting next tuesday. If anyone knows any more information on this unique album, like where i can hear some more tracks before its release, please post your details!

I'm surprised how much people like the 80's. I'd take 60's & 90's. This decade has had some good stuff, but I'll wait until the end of it to rate it.
