Where was Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain educated?

Joshua L. Chamberlain was a hero of the Civil War. I forgot, where did he go to college? Harvard? I think he was a Massachusetts or Maine resident.
 
Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain was educated at Bowdoin College in Maine, and later, he went to the Bangor Theological Institution. He studied natural and revealed religions there.
 
Colonel and then General Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain went to Bowdoin College in Maine and became a teacher. After the Civil War, he became President of Bowdoin College and also Governor of Maine.
