Canada! I've never met a mean person from Canada and I live right by the border. You're pretty young though, give your country another chance man. If you can't appreciate your home then you won't be able to make one anywhere else...

and respectful? I am 15 years old, live in the UK and was thinking of permanently moving to Japan when I was older but if I did there is a policy that I must give up all other citizenships and speak, read and write Japanese. And that means my other citizenships will go to waste. So in other words I must leave my English past all behind.

Is there anywhere else where, like Japan; the people are respectful and the culture is nice and interesting?

No such place exists.I traveled most part of the world and i used to think that way but you will find out people are people and they have he same problems or zest for life anywhere in the world including Japan where there is a great number of homeless and jobless people.Basically what i am saying as you grow up life is what you make it and also life is not fair, things will happen of which you will have no control over. You can find real happiness in the Uk.

Surely none such a place exists. Hardly anybody knows the meaning of "respect" any more.

I live in Switzerland as a student right now, and it really is wonderful. The people are very respectful of others. I love it here. It's so different from the US.
