Where exactly does bicycling help you lose weight?

if you eat properly and exercise it will help you lose weight all around! the bicycling will help increase your metabolism so it will help you lose weight in other areas but it won't work as well in those areas like it will in your legs. you can also do other exercises to target other places such as sit ups for the tummy area and push ups for the arms or whatever exercise suits you best. the combination of eating properly and getting in some type of exercise will surely help you lose weight all around :)
 
From what I have learned, your body decides where to cut the fat off, as in, specializing in one area, will exclusively strengthen that area, however, that does not mean fat will be cut off from there. Best advice to you is to rotate your exercises, every few weeks or so, and more importantly eat better. You absolutely must improve your diet to see changes.
 
i'm a bit overweight. I wanna lose weight EVERYWHERE on my body. my arms, my stomach, my legs, my face. Will bicycling help with that? or is it just going to help me lose weight on my legs?
 
You'll lose weight in your legs, butt, and lower abs. Other than that...well...you won't get muscle tone but the lost calories will help you lose some weight up top...You just won't look firm. Try doing cardio AND some light weight lifting for at least an hour a day.
 
Um in your leg it also helps you build muscles in your lower body ex thighs butt
 
If you want to lose weight everywhere you should do cardio like running or swimming.Cycling is mostly muscle building though if you really want to do it then it will help you lose weight, just slower.
 
well bicycling is good cartio so it helps all around the body.


now ridding a bike is a great way to loose weight it helps get the hart pumping and you will get very powerful legs as a result

the best work out I hate to but it's running because of the number of calirous you burn per hour
 
I have a shared gym in my apartment complex, and have been going on the exercise bike for 45minutes everyday for 2 weeks and have lost 9 lbs. Also been doing weights, I can say my legs are definitely more defined and loosing weight from my stomach.
