Where can I find a *new* cheap Kawasaki NInja 650R for a decent price?

This is a popular model. You are going to pay at least MSRP at any dealer you find. Why would any dealer sell one for less if they know that they can easily get MSRP for one? So forget finding a cheap new one.

MSRP is about $6,800. I doubt you will find a new one for any less.

So if you must have one for less I suggest you set your sights a little lower and get a used one. However it is very doubtful that you will find a used 2008 or 2009 model.

Another option may be to wait until fall or early winter. You may find a dealer that would be willing to sell you one for less than MSRP instead of storing it until spring where this bike would have to compete for sales against the 2010 model.
 
I would either try craigs list or cycle trader. yous should have good luck on Craigslist though, Kawasakis are pretty common. Any cycle trader just has a ton of bikes. But remember just because it has low mileage doesn't mean its been maintained well make sure you look at their maintenance records.. So if you are new to riding bring a someone that has some experience looking at bikes and if all else fails bring it to a mechanic.
